Inaugural Address by Dr. Vikram Singh IPS, PPM***, IPM*, Pro Chancellor, Noida International University

Dr. Vikram Singh is an Indian educationist and retired Indian Police Service officer. He joined the IPS in 1974 and held the post of Director General of Police in the state of Uttar Pradesh from June 2007 to September 2009. He retired from the IPS in May 2010.

Dr. Singh is with a very formidable background. He has been Director General of Police of the largest police force in the world of largest state of India, Uttar Pradesh. The size of the population of UP is equivalent to the European Union’s three major countries- Germany, the United Kingdom, France combined.

A soft spoken and erudite orator, he is also known for effective elimination of criminals and highly acclaimed approach for control of law and order. Highly acclaimed for his integrity and professionalism Dr. Vikram Singh is the Highest Decorated Indian Police Officer whose name is entered in Limca Book of Records. He is currently working with Noida International University as Pro Chancellor. He is Guest speaker at several National and International institutions.
